                                                             Potty Training

Most children are ready to begin potty training usually somewhere between 1 1/2 years and 3 years without a lot of trouble. If you begin to early the child might get confused as they will be unable to control their own body movements. To learn how to use the potty and not physically being able to will not only frustrate the child and yourself but will also make the job much more difficult for the both of you.Potty training But starting too late will also be a problem making it a lot more difficult long term to achieve, as bad habits will have set in and will be much harder to break.

One of the 1st things to do is to get a potty chair that is appropriate for your child and that is fun for them and simple to clean.Potty training One of the best ways for you to assure your child is ready to start is to bring them with you when you choose it. This will get your child excited about starting something new and should make it easier for you to get them to start using their new potty.

When you start the  Potty training process it is often very helpful to show then what they will be doing with one of their dolls 1st. After this is done explain to them that they will be doing the same thing as what you showed them with their doll. Most often once this is done you can take away the diapers and put underwear on your child as well. You do not want to have them, (the diapers) around because it will allow you to use them whenever you are frustrated by your child's progress.
